The Academy of Technology and Industry is an applied learning pathway within UCT Online High School. It exists for learners for whom a traditional, academic-only route is either incomplete or misaligned.

Delivery Model
The Valenture Institute has designed a robust, multi-faceted support structure to ensure learner success in an online learning environment. Each programme is academically managed by a qualified subject expert Facilitator, who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of programme delivery, assessment, and for conducting real-time sessions to address learner queries. Every learner has access to personalised learning support and guidance.


Support Model
Each leaner has access to Support Advisors who provide administrative guidance, and support. Learners also have access to professional wellness support staff should the need arise. This holistic support model is a cornerstone of our commitment to quality and is aligned with best practices for learner support in distance and technology-enhanced education.
Built for employability
All learners will complete Work Place Experience Modules where learners will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and practical skills in an authentic work environment. This experiential learning is critical for developing contextual understanding and proving occupational competence.
